DECEMBER, 2009 - Avatar at the Imax
I just saw Avatar at the BFI Imax in London and was completely blown away!!! It's truly a spectacular experience! I'll be seeing it a few more times before it leaves the theaters.

I very happily discovered that my name was included in the credits! Considering the massive size of the crew that worked on it, I thought it was highly unlikely that I would be able to be listed. I'm very grateful to the Avatar producers to have been so dilligent in including so many of the contributors to their film. Indeed, the list of Avatar credits was by far the largest credits list I've ever seen.

OCTOBER, 2009
The Tale of Despereaux

On a lull in the workflow for Clash of the Titans I've contributed some matte painting work to Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time.

AUGUST, 2009
The Tale of Despereaux

Having finished up my contribution to Avatar, I was assigned to be a matte painter on Clash of the Titans. I'm VERY much looking forward to this project. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm going to be on this film for several months.

AUGUST, 2009
The Tale of Despereaux

While working on Avatar, I've had the opportunity to create a matte painting for Salt. This is a great opportunity for me to work with a contemporary architectural scene, which I haven't yet had an opportunity to do.

JULY, 2009
The Tale of Despereaux

I've been asked to create textures for Avatar for a month or two. We have to work at a very hectic pace to make sure we make it to the release date, but it's an absolute pleasure to be able to be a part of such an amazing and massive project.

DECEMBER, 2008
The Tale of Despereaux

Once Despereaux was all finished, my contract at Framestore was extended to work on Where the Wild Things Are. It turns out I was the only matte painter on the project for a while until others were found to help out. It's been quite a challenge, but a fantastic experience. I have high hopes for the film. It looks gorgeous.

NOVEMBER, 2007
The Tale of Despereaux

I got hired at Framestore in London and am matte painting for The Tale of Despereaux. I've also done some textures for the film.
